CSSCS Board Mission

The Board of Standards is responsible for continuing to foster the designation’s professional standards in the field of comprehensive retirement income planning and is responsible for creating and enforcing a uniform code of professional responsibility and ethics.

The responsibilities of the CSSCS Board of Standards include:

• Creating educational guidelines used by educational providers to prepare designee candidates for the CSSCS examination
• Creating and administering the CSSCS examination
• Evaluating all candidates and issuing the designation where appropriate
• Enforcing a code of professional conduct for designees
