The Board of Standards is responsible for continuing to foster the designation’s professional standards in the field of comprehensive retirement income planning and is responsible for creating and enforcing a uniform code of professional responsibility and ethics.
The responsibilities of the CSSCS Board of Standards include:
- Creating educational guidelines used by educational providers to prepare designee candidates for the CSSCS examination
- Creating and administering the CSSCS examination
- Evaluating all candidates and issuing the designation where appropriate
- Enforcing a code of professional conduct for designees
